In answer to your question, the Pow Wow invites people of all tribes to come to sing their songs and dance. Drum circles provide the music for the dance, and the rhythm is strong. There are special dances for senior women, senior men, young women and men, and children. The dance outfits signify their tribe, family, and experiences. The dances are cultural and based on religion and belief systems. The most common tribes around here are Sioux which includes Lakota, Nakota, Dakota and Teton Sioux. Other tribes that might have been here are Omaha, Winnebago, and Potawatomi. The only way for me to know who is from what tribe is to ask them.
