Carpe Diem


 

They were young and invicible .

Enjoying life .

Thinking days would last forever.

One of them was my father .

Now he's an old man .

Those days are gone.

They were good times.

Those times are gone.

So, CARPE DIEM !

Oh yes, Seize the day. How right you are. The crew portrait shows these gallant young men ready to set sail. BTW, Sun dogs are called that because of Greek legend that says the god Zeus walks his dogs across the sky, and the false suns at 22° on either side of the sun are the dogs. They only happen when it is cold enough for the humidity in the air to freeze usually around -18°C so I doubt the Greeks saw them very often.
