The skies in your photos looks like ours today, mostly cloudy, but I am sure it is warmer where you are. Not much action at the Maritime Terminal. The Prairie Pothole in my post today is part of the region of potholes, or small lakes and wetlands created by the last glacier. There are many thousands of them here, and they extend across five U.S. States and three Canadian Provinces in what use to be the largest grassland in the world. These Prairie Potholes are major production areas for waterfowl and grassland birds, and they hold vast amounts of fresh water reducing flooding and recharging aquifers. The white spots on the water surface are waterfowl in my post.
