A stands for Anchor

How many anchors was I supposed to find
while walking around a small harbour ?...

I would say you are well anchored. Some of them are amazing. The ancient rusty one sticking out of the shore looks like it has become part of the rocks around it. I have never seen an anchor like the last two in your pictures. Not sure how those would work, but they must have worked just fine. As to our spring, we did get rain last weekend which turned the grass bright green, but there are no leaves out on any trees or bushes yet, and certainly no flowers blooming. Perhaps in a week or two some of those might come out. There are green buds on my lilac bush, so there are leaves trying to emerge.

une vraie collection - ces ancres ont dû être forgées avec beaucoup de savoir-faire * toutes différentes !

Dijon has Le Parcours de la Chouette so why can't Villefranche sur Mer have a trail of anchors? I like it!
